Just installed my Flowmetrics Throttle body from the group buy. I have just a few things to say about this:
1) Wonderful!!!!
2) Probably the easiest installation I've ever done. Everything fit perfectly and the instructions were superb.
While I was at it, I installed the Autolite 3923's and dumped the Platinum Plus4's I had. Also put in a Borg-Warner Cap and Rotor. HAD to take her out and play immediately. I am so happy!
I kept right even with a Pontiac Grand Prix GT off a light, and the kid driving was giving it all he had.
My immediate reaction to this installation is that the throttle response and midrange is impressively better than before. My Dak is still slow off the line, but with me in it, she tops the scales at a touch over 5000 lbs. So its gonna be slow no matter what.
