Subject: Pillar Gauge Pod part 2

Sorry for creating a new thread for this, but I used the search for 20 minutes and could not find my old post. I see frequent posts telling people to use the search feature and to be honest it is not very useful.

I got my Propods pillar mount gauge pod for my 2003 Dakota. I took some pics and also have some info. First of all the quality and design is decent. It is vacuum formed black ABS plastic with a texture. The edges are trimmed and it fits well. I drilled a countersunk hole at the top to mount it with a screw instead of using the plugs they supply. If you use the press-in plugs there is no good way to remove them if you need to change light bulbs on the gauges. The screw threads into a bracket that I mounted to the top "oh sh!t" handle mount. I will post more pictures tomorrow including the mounting bracket, but here is how it looked with the gauges in black.
