where can i get a electric fan kit, cause im sick of having a belt drivin, plus i heard it keeps it cooler and frees up a few ponies, i have a 5.2 manual 4x4, thanx guys

97 5.2 5spd 2x4 reg cab, also am interested, the 16 in blackmagic is about 190 bucks so ive heard, and the perma cool one is just 80 bucks, and both state that they pull about 2750 cf of air, the only diff i see is that the black magic comes with a fan shroud as the permacool doesnt, but cant i use the stock fan shourd? also if i do remove the stock fan, i have to get a shorter belt? thanks

To my understanding, the black magic has a temp sensor in the shroud, and in my opinion, it makes things easier if you are not a technical genius, I know I'm not. Thats a good question about the belt, I'd like to know that also. Before I thought you would just leave the pulley on and take the fan off as the fan is where all the weight is.

The pully is one piece with the water pump..... the fan screws onto the pully...... just the the fan off and dont mess with the pully
