can we have some specs on the motor? I've been contemplating building a 340. I allways liked them alot better than the 360. Only snag ups I see are machining the block for the crank position sensor to run the stock style fuel injection system. Did the mag 318 flywheel bolt on the 340 crank ? the mag heads will work using the amc lifters and adj pushrods. Mounts are allready out to put an la motor in my gen2 as well.

You should really have yourself a screamer there..good luck

What are the cam specs? Did you use a mag flex plate, was the block machined for the crank position sensor? What kind of munts are you running? Custom made? I didnt think anyone made a LA gen 3 conversion yet. What trans are you running? What lifters and pushrods?
I'd love to see some pics, can email them to gmconner@juno.com If ya dont wanna post them publicly
