How can you tell the HO MOPAR manifold from stock. Marty from KRC said most new Dak 4.7 Quad Cabs come with the HO manifold from the factory.
Only markings I can find are a "+7" chalked on the rear of the plenum and a sticker in the middle of the manifold with a bar code id.
Don't want to order one if I have one......

At least when I did it on my 2000, the factory manifold had black caps front and rear, the HO had grey caps... when I say caps I mean the caps over the very front of it, there is a sensor on it. If it is out of the truck the HO has HO on the back cap...
I think my '03 has black caps on the stocer as well...

As far as I know, they do not come from the factory with the HO intake already installed. Why would there be two part numbers if they were already there from the factory?

I see in the brochures that the quad cabs make a few more horses (5) than normal Daks. Cause I guess Dodge thinks with the four doors we're going to be haulin some lard asses around and need the extra torque. Marty from KRC said that the last three quad cabs they have looked at has the H/O.

Chris my manifold "caps" are grey too. I'll try and get a mirror in there so I can look for the "HO" on the back.

Mine looks exactly like HO manifold in above link. Hmmmm, whats a HO manifold without HO cams. Dont tell me I have those too!

It's interesting that after model year 2002 the manifolds were redesigned, and that the standard 4.7 version and the 4.7HO versions are exactly the same for 2003 and 2004 models (at least as far as the Grand Cherokee goes). I wonder if these new manifolds are all "HO" versions, and if there are any improvement differences, if ever so slight, in the standard 4.7 engines using these new manifolds.

Hell - now I'm confused. On my 2003 the manifild sticker shows it was made in made in Sept 02. It has the grey center caps . HO or not?? what do you think. It does have the yellow +7 chalked on the back of the plenum.

The P/N is on the top of the manifold. Have a dealer cross refernce that for you.
