Message: Just bought a '99 Dakota R/T 5.9 and looking for performance increases. Couldn't find a whole lot of info on this here so thought I'd ask. Will straight piping the catalytic converter give any performance gains worth while? Will I need to do anything with O2 sensors? Can you put a resistor of sorts in it to make it think it is running correct? Thanks for the help!

Message: I have the 01 4.7 and cut out my 3rd cat and noticed no increase at all in performance a little deeper tone is all I got out of it. If you only have 1 cat on there then you might see a little better improvement then I did.

Message: My system is basically duals into the cat. Siungle to the muffler. Then duals from the muffler to the exit. Would taking the cat and muffler out and making it true duals with some olf flowmasters I have increase much? What would I have to do with the post cat O2 sensor?
