Message: Why would you buy something from someone without knowing what it is? Was it a friend? If so, can't you trust him? In case your interested, I have a intake that looks like a stock airbox, but it's really a super-dooper high performance modified airbox that flows over 2000 cfm's! (Wink, wink!) Just picking on you!

Message: I am selling my PCM on ebay also but the part nubmer sticker is wrinkled from water, maybe it fell off, is there any gummy residue on the top side (as it is mounted)?

Message: I'd think you have to reset the 'puter after the swap, did you do that?
Disconnect the battery, turn the ignition on for 15-20 seconds and then connect 'er back up again and try it.

Message: Acouple of things you could check will tell you if it is a mp pcm.It should run up to 6000 rpm befor hitting the rev limmiter/cut out.If your engine is built to rev past 5200.ie valve springs.Another thing, put the truck on jackstands, putit in top gear/overdrive and run it. It will have no top end limmit either.Shift points sholld be higher at wof also. The mopar pcm are only reprogramed stock computers anyway.Or call Mike Leach there may be some numbers on it he could check.

Message: If the truck shifts around 4,800 rpm at WOT you have a stock PCM. If it shifts around 5,300 rpm you have the MP PCM. It will also ping real bad on 87 octane if it's the MP unit. There is no need to reset the PCM after installation. Unhook the battery, remove stock PCM, install MP unit, connect battery. My truck starts and stops real fast on the first start-up, then on the second start-up it runs a little rough then smooths out. It will take 100-300 miles for the new PCM to "learn" everything. Hope this helps.

Message: You will need to have the dealer flash your vin number and mileage to get rid of the maintence and brake lights. Hope you purchased a pcm without the flash already done.
