I have a 1999 3.9L with a homemade intake and i'm looking for an exahaust for it. I have heard that Ravins sound good and preform well. Any body have one and or know of a good exahaust systems?

Hey chris I have one on my truck! Remember there are 3 classes for the Ravin the Z-33 is the loudest thats what I have, Z-55 and the Z-77. All I have is the 3 inch into the muffler then I had dual pipes coming out the back. Then I cut Everything off from the muffler back so now the air just flows straight outta the muffler and let me tell it is loud ! Its all about taste and how loud you wanna go! I cant tell ya what performance gains are cuz the first time I ever raced it was after the exhaust was done! Felt like it did something but who knows! Wish I wouldve dynoed it! The brochure says it out flows all the name brands even flowmaster 40 series! But I think our truck rely on some backpressure! Good luck !

had one one my 97 rc v6 sounded good and improved throtal response, 3inh in duel 2 1/2 out 45ed with 3inh chrome tips out the back i have sence traded it in for a QC with the 4.7. anyway go with the Z-55 if ya dont want it realy lound its loud outside with little interier noise

have a ravin 3" single into muffler,with dual 2 1/2" exits with ss tips.sounds awesome and performs well.i have a 4.7 so could not say how it would sound on something else.i like it better than dynomax and flowmasters,had them too.

Haven't heard a Ravin yet, but PaceSetter's supposed to have a good one for the V6.
