do you know where i can het a set of headers for my dakota it is an 88 and it has a 318 i looked on summit but the only ones they had were $300 some does anyone know where i can get a cheaper set at i cant find one in my mopar performance catolog

mopar performance doesnt make headers for that year truck anymore the only ones that i know of that might fit are hooker super comps but ther are $320

Any of the headers that fit the older LA style engines will fit your engine in your Dakota. It is a matter of getting a set that will clear everything. Also, I was reading an article on a 380 hp 360 crate engine. It stated that any of the old headers that fit the LA style engines will fit the magnum engines. The Hooker super comp headers are part number 9803. If you want a set of cheap headers see if you can find a set of Blackjack headers for a full size Dodge truck or Ramcharger. If they still make them that is. They will bolt up and should clear(Fingers crossed).
