Message: First off sweet dak!~!!!!!!! I took a look at your 12 second run... I wish. The question i have for ya is this. How did you manage a 110 mph run???? I just put an a Kenne Bell charger and i"m worried that i'll hit more than 96 mph int the quarter. I'm governed at 96!!!!! I know i'm not gunna pull 12's but I'm hoping for more than 96mph. Your's is a 4.7 same as mine. Mine is auto but i don't think that should matter when it comes to governors. Any suggestions???? thanks......

Message: You can override the limiter by turning your key to the 'start' position as you hit the limit. Don't worry, it works. It's kinda like breaking the sound barrier. Or send your pcm back to kb and tell them you will sign a waiver if they will take your limiter out. I've heard of someone doing this.

Message: Yes, just send it back in... Yates-in-de has the Kenne Bell flash, and it moved his top speed to 135mph, and bumped his rev limiter up too I believe.
If you don't hit 100mph in the 1/4, you'll be dern close.
Good luck and post up the results on track night.
Congrats on the install.
Question for you and J....
Have either of you guys dyno'd the kits yet? I'm curious, because over on DTO, there is a post where we are trying to compare the Paxton to the KB. Kennedy's dynotune, got a 318RWHP and 335RWTQ rating out of the KB, but I'm unsure as to the previous mods, conditions, etc...We were wanting to know if any of OUR people had results.
If you've got something, could you post it?
Enjoy the boost, I definitely DO.

Message: Glad to hear your kit is working so well for you. I've never dynoed my truck so I don't have any numbers. I'll try to get it done soon and let you know how it turns out.

Message: Notchlx is right. You have to get the PCM flashed to get rid of the speed limiter..... or at least that's how I got rid of mine.

Message: Not to dispute Duner-the DAK god, but,
The duner, and Lynn, have 5psds-manuals.
I don't want to look up the link, but Lynn said that if you had an auto, and the limiter was 98mph, they wouldn't raise it-he posted this, I dunno, don't work there.
The 5spd, at least mine, is limited at 118ish-stock. The auto @99ish mph.
Sounds like you may have to turn the key!
Good luck

Message: Todd is right about Kenne Bell not raising the speed limiter on Vehicles Limited at 98 mph. What they told me it had something to do with the drive shaft being Aluminum. I don't know I don't work There. Wether or not it is the Auto or Manual I don't know. Might try the key trick, I've never tried that, cause even in Germany I didn't feel the need to go faster than 135 mph.

Message: Thanks guys. I'm going to call KB. The guy at the performance shop told me they said they would not take it off, but maybe he forgot to ask. If my drive shaft is aluminium wouldn't everybody's be??? hmmmmmm... 98ish is just not fast enough!!!! My big problem shippinmg it back is that i live in canada, it get real expensive!!! And my canadian pesos (oops i mean dollars hehehe) don't help the situation. I'll post some after numbers later....... before was 193rwhp... 275rwtq.....
