has anyone fabbed up a new way to get a bigger k&n filter on it? I've read a few times that the provided filter with the pd kits too small for even 6lbs of boost, so I guess my question is two-fold. What's the MAXIMUM filter (k&n part number would be killer) that can be crammed into the fender where the pd plate is, OR has anyone said screw that plate, and just dropped a larger k&n filter just beyond the elbow in the gap that would be created if that last piece of flexi-hose wasn't in there?

thanks!

I'm running the K&N filter that came with the kit. It's mounted in the fender and I clean it all the time (every 5k miles). I have taken it to the track and found NO difference in time or speed with or without filter installed. I thought that was intresting to know.

Powerdyne 6#, MP Headers, Transgo shit kit, MSD/BTM ignition, MAP tweak, relocated IAT, MP PCM, "409" taylor plug wires, Keith Black Pistons, 5140 I-beam rods, polished head bowls. MONEY PIT!!
