 Subject: what diameter exhaust

Well i wanted to know what the diameter of my stock exhaust is? and what the size of a MBRP single out is? and if it's only 2.5" would i need to go to a 3" out i have a 2000 4.7 slt+ with only mod is K&N FIPK.

your stock exhaust is a 2.5". The mbrp is probably 2.5" to the muffler and 3" from the muffler to the tip. This would be fine. Get yourself a free flow cat as well. Carsound 2.5" in/out is about $90.

Look around on the net. I think performancecombos.com sells the cats and elitecustoms.net sells the exhaust. Look around some though. I'm sure there are others as well that sell both of those. You may want to try trucktrenz.com for the cat as well. They sell magnaflow exhaust and magnaflow makes carsound cats.
