I read your post about something and saw the stuff you have on your truck...
Tell me about how it all works together, the suspension too.........
I have an 01 Club Cab Dak Sport 4.7 5 spd and it's only slightly modded but it will haul taters for what it is... I'm sure it's doin 60 in under 7 sec.. Anyway, the gas mileage is bearable enough due to the fact that my payment is only $215 a month and I would like to put hedders, true duals, modded intake manifold, bigger TB, maybe some roller rockers and a mild cam, also an ECM, like a Venom 400 for example...
I will need some posi traction and something lower than 3:55's, but I would like to stop there and just wondering what kind of power I could be making with it......????

OK - I bought my 2000 RC Dak new in Oct of 2000. It came with the 4.7, 5 speed, 3.92 Trac Loc all stock.
One of my first mods was a Z-tube from www.intenseperformance.com. great product that really helped the throttle response.

I replaced the factory 2000 15" rims witha set of the 2001 16", and added the stock fender flares.

My next mod was to have my PCM flashed by Tom at Mike Leach co. Absolute huge gains and dollar for dollar the best mod I have done.

I got the Hurst shifter. Greatly improved my shifts.

I got the MBRP exaust with roll Pan and the Cuda style tips. the MBRP mufflers gave me a nice increase in power with an awesome sound.

Next was the AAR fiberglass Cuda style hood.

At this point I tried a 68 mm ported TB. I was un-happy with it. I didnt think it provided me with what I was wanting.

Next for me was my personal favorite -full Hotchkis suspension. There is only one kit out there that will provided you with a true performance suspension, and that is Hotchkis. I live in an area of curvy roads, and I can hang with the Vettes, and all of the little sports cars.

Front brakes were next. I got the Stillen cross- drilled rotors and pads and I am very happy with those.

I did the TPS mod and was happy with it.

I removed the clutch fan, nice gain!

I sold my Z-tube, and got a dual filter set up to make my hood functional.

I now decided for some more power and had a true dual exhasut set -up with the JBA headers and a Dr, Gas Tandum X-pipe installed. WOW! huge gains!
2 1/2" pipes to two 40 series Flowmasters, keeping my 2 1/4" tail pies that came with the MBRP set -up.

This increase in power led to my destruction of the center hub of my clutch. I added the Centerforce Dual friction set-up and was greatly impressed with it. Much smoother shifts.

My last mods have been the HO cams and intake, and the F&B 72 MM throttle body.

oh and dont forget my SSB rear disks.

All of my mods have led me to have a TRUE performance vehichle. Not just the quarter mile, but on ANY paved survace.

No I had one scheduled, but I had to postpone. The closest one to me is 150 miles away. I estimate based on others that I should have 230 at the rear wheels. being as I have a unique exhast system from most others, I hoping for 240.

The kit was from www.mbrp.com I paid around $600 for everthing from John Mercedes in Florida. I dont remember how to get ahold of him though.

The roll pan can be bought seperatly for around $150 from Pro Glass in Indiana.

thanks for the comments!

Love the Hurst shifter and PLYMOUTH sticker! Nice touch. I wonder if one coud adapt one of the old pistol grip shifters to a Dak. Really wishing I'd gotten the manual tranny now. :(
