Message: I run one, but honestly, unless you're planning something in excess of 400 HP it's probably not needed. We have a '98 Ram with a Vortech running 30# injectors and no signs of the stock fuel pump falling behind. Fuel pressure remaining steady.

Message: I may get to 400 hp plus - it's for a 408 going in my '95 Dak. Should be around 400, more if I ever decide to spray it.
If I'm not making that kind of power, will it cause more harm than good i.e. push so much fuel it runs rich?

Message: As long as your resulting fuel pressure doesn't change, the pump itself has no effect on the A/F.

Message: Then maybe I should get one since (at least initially) I'll be running a stock regulator. The Holley pump doesn't cost any more than a stock replacement.
