I can see I really started some heated discussions. I was looking for a truck with an automatic because it could tow my mustang. You guys can argue all you want but no one will convince me that a 4.7 auto is gonna beat a 5.9 auto. Besides the 4.7 will need quite a few mods to handle like an R/T. 4.7 said the old pushrods engines are slow you should have bought a 4.7 or waited for the hemi. I guess he didn't read Mopar magazine either because the hemi is a pushrod engine. It is good to see there are some R/T's out there running decent times. I don't have a problem believing the stats posted. Probably cause if you gonna lie why say you truck ran high 14's. Everybody knows no two engines are built equally. Somebody has to get the good running one. I will probably make a bone stock pass in mine. Thanks for all the input guys.
