OK, yesterday was the worst day of my life my 01 FR RC R/T caught fire. It appears that somthing punctured the fuel tank. Anyway depending on how the insurance thing turns out I will have a TON I mean LOTS of parts for sale. It may be a week or two before I'm ready to sell this stuff but I thought I might let everyone get an idea of what I have in case you might be looking to buy somthing, I might have it cheaper. When I get this settled I will post up a more detailed list with prices.
Cams: stock, mopar cam (larger one 208 216 @.05), KRC 220 and maybe a KRC 210X, also have 1.6 RRs complete set and 1.7 RRs on truck.
Torque Converters: stock, Mopar 2250-2350, PI Viper
Heads: stock complete, Magnum Aluminum 6500springs cromoly retainers stainless valves viton seals.
Manifolds: stock, M1 2bbl
Wheels&Tires: 2R/T Wheels w/245/45/zr17 90% front.
2 widend 2" R/T wheels 17x11 w/315/35/17 Drag Radials 25% rear. 2 15x8 American racin Helix w/28/11.5/15 MT ET Streets 90%.
Suspension: Western Chassis 2" lower control arms, Stock R/T Coils & Leafs, Hotchkis rear sport Leafs, CE 3way adjustable drag Shocks, Lake wood 50/50s.
Drive Train: 35K 360 Magnum short block or complete w/windage tray, 46re/a518 w/transgo, drive shaft, 9 1/4 w/ 410s and detroit locker.
PCM: Stock 01 fried (not in fire), replacement o1, FAST ECU.
Those are just some basics a little more detailed than I planned but o well. I have lots and lots more parts some of them still in boxs.
Oh I live in TX the DFW area.

That sucks!! Any more detail on how it caught fire? Should other Dak owners look out for something specific?
Tell you insurance company that your eyes were strained when you saw your truck burn to the ground and you suffered emotional distress - that should be good for about 2.5 million! LOL!!

Ok heres the deal, I don't know when I will get a chance to part out the truck (insurance) but for now I will sell the parts I have sitting around. I sent afi360 some pics so he might post them up.
Here is the list of parts for sale, the rest of them are still on the truck. Prices are negotiable and pics can be emailed.
Cams: Stock $25, KRC 220 $50, KRC210X is brand new in box w/lifters it hasent even arrived yet I paid $405 for cam and lifters will sell for $350, also have used lifters $25.
Injectors: Stock $25, FMS 24s $75
Heads: Stock ported lightly w/springs locks retainers valves and viton seals $150.
Torque Converters: Stock $50, Mopar 2250-2350 $75
Suspension: R/T Leafs $75, stock Lower Control Arms $50, R/T Sway Bars front & rear $50, R/T front shocks $25, Lakewood 50/50s rear $25.
Wheels: 2 American Racing Helix 15x8 w/28/11.5/15 MT ET Streets 90% $250
Stock self ported TB $50
1.7 RRs with used push rods, new guide plates studs $175
stock timing chain $15
stock intake manifold $25
Stock harmonic balance W/pulley will include belt $50
Jet Stage 2 pigy back chip $50
MSD 6A w/instructions was in fire but is ok $75
Blaster SS Coil is melted a little but I think still works $15
Fast ECU was also in fire but is ok wiring harness and converter box is melted will need to contact KRC Performance for a new one my lap top got wet but I think is fixable $1000 for ECU and Laptop & software.

if any of that fire was anywere near the rear suspension I would be very leary of buying any metal that was part of the suspension you would be surpised how a little heat will take the temper, spring and strength out of metel especially if the metal was heat treated to make it springy or harder or stringer. only 1500 or so degrees will do it and a gasoline fire will burn hotter then that.

All Suspension Components are ok, fire was at the front of the fuel tank. the only thing I am worried about is the frame. So after I part it out I guess I'll be taking it to the junk yard.

Thanks for all the replies every one I'm trying to keep up with the email. I have decided to buy another R/T but this time an extended cab. oh and a 00 or older. Anyway the MSD, FMS24s, Battery Box, 1.7rrs, and Mopar TC are sold. and I'm going to keep the ET streets, and 210X w/lifters.

There is a shop that will widen the stock wheels... I do have a couple ?'s... with 11" wheels are you running spacers behind them to move the offset out, and have you cut the wheel wells out or moved them in? with my 275/50/17 on the R/T wheels I am coming close to hitting.

I'm gonna keep the heads and 1.6rrs, but i still have the 220 cam I'll email you pics and info. As for the wheels I can't remember where I had it done I think wheels america. I had to buy 2 donor wheels and it cost me 150 each to get done. I run 315 BFG Drag Radials no spacers or cutting done to bed, they fit in the stock wheel wells with no rubbing or modification. Has about 3/4" between tire and leaf and less than an inch between tire and inner fenders. I think I have some pics I'll have to look.
