You've got his 70mm right? Are you happy with it, would you recommend it over the 68mm?

Hey dude! Sorry, I haven't had the chance to check back here that often. Yeah, 70mm and it kicks as$, but it's not living up to it's full potential yet. I have finally decided against going with a supercharger...but I am getting a turbo setup. Sure it'll cost more, but I don't really care at this point. I want the flexibility of tuning available with the turbo.

Hey justin,

another question for you, i have a shaker hood on my 4.7, and i wanted to get the HO intake manifold, my Q is; the shake bolts onto the intake manifold, so does the HO intake have the same stuff on top as the regular one?

Yeah man, they look the same as far as their setup. Might have some different colored plastic up front (white vs. my black) and it says HO in big letters, but it's the same setup.

Justin,

what about sound? did the HO intake and cams make your truck sound any different?

There is a difference in sound, but my truck is pretty loud anyway at idle (due to the removed third cat/resonator thingy). It sounds a bit more choppy, not the regular smooth rhythm that was there before. At WOT, you can definitely tell the difference. The cams make my radio antenna shake a tad bit more, that's for sure. Oh yeah, it shifts at different RPM points now, and it definitely climbs in RPM wayyyyyyy faster after the intake and TB addition (of course, the dual exhaust is helping that out as well). I can't wait to run it with slicks and see what it will really run!
