Message: I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to put a floor shifter in an '02 R/T. I don't really know how the shift linkage works in this truck, whether it is cable operated or electronic. Also if this could be done is there any way to keep the gear position idicator working? How about the push button overdrive? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

Message: i talked to LOKAR about that they said that overdrive would still work, you would loose the indicator and you would also have to fab a switch for your reverse lights, this was for my 93. Just call the company they will tell you what works and what doesn't.

Message: you wont have to "fab" a switch for your reverse lights... they run off a strip on the throttle valve lever inside the tranny. You would have to make a new O/D switch or resposition it if you want to take the column shift off.

Message: Do a search of the archives. I remember a
post about it. Last weekend at the Southwest
Shootout in Tucson AZ, I saw the set-up. The
shift indicator and the overdrive switch were
both hooked up and worked. It looked great.
