...and I should be easy picking as my 2003 R/T can only run 15.199 at 89.3mph. (unlike your S10 I have the slip to prove it)

You can flame if you want but my truck is my truck. I dont run stock (does any one???) and I dont think a K+N filter ads 15 hp. I run the track and when I get stupid I run the street. If you want to know what I have done to my truck than race me but I ain't comming to Canada just to prove a point. I keep hearing people quote magazines and brochures. Why do you race??? Cause a car and driver article won't tell you nothing about someone ride. If you wanna know what they got use the pedal on the right when the light turns green. If the guy is decent he will tell you after the run. I'll end with this, if you wanna see my headlights you better bring a 250+ HP. Believe it or not it is up to you.

reading this is always fun. so here is my bit. yes we have a dakota. yeah its kinda fast. 4.7 quad cab. but are all these trucks faster than a neon r/t? its only a 2.0. but how does 332.6 horsepower and 341.2 lb/ft tourque at the ground sound? for you s10 people thats about 140 more at the ground than you have at the crank. highly modified you say? havent even opened up the engine yet. 10 psi and a extrude hone intake manifold underdrive pully computer and a quafe limited slip with stage 4 clutch. its only good for a 12.23 at 132.3. can we say tire spin? how would it feel to be wasted by a neon? the look on peoples faces is priceless. its an r/t for a reason. the trucks arent any different. it dont take much to make a sh1t load of power. r/t's are made from the factory to be modified from the after market. the important stuff is already there all you have to do is add the rest.

he was talking about killing S10's with a neon... which is pretty darn cool to do in an economy PEON

i don't know where theses mithical fast s-10's are because i sure haven't seen one yet.
But nothing is better than pounding the sh*t out off those extended cab step side s-10s (that they must have given away in chip bags because everyones got one)!!!And the extreme package!?!It's the exact same truck with a bodykit???!!!

I used to have an 89' 4.3l s10....it was very quick off the line.... my r/t would still beat it though...but my r/t is not stock and the s10 was... still would chose the dak...and the Neon dude said he owns a 4.7 quad cab so I would think he is just as justified to be on this site as any of us are....plus he was givin dodge "kutos" ... still, all you fuks can do is give him SH1t for racing a car, a car that would beat your trucks ass....oopps did I say that?....Mopar4life

I got my next kill today. A friend with a 1997 S-10 with flowmaster 40's, gutted cat, brand spanking new rebuilt heads, limited slip, 5-SPEED, K&N Filter, new stage 2 clutch.
We took off, and I had him the whole way, off the line and on the go.
93' RC 2wd 3.9L Bed Cover, Flowmaster 50 Duals, gutted cat, Accel 8mm wires, Platnium autolite 3923's
