Anyone know how many volts a stock coil puts out? Most of the high performanace coils (Blasters, SuperCoil) put out at least 42KV. I was in a local speed shop and they found an MSD direct plug-in coil (forgot the part#), but it only put out 38KV. Is this still considered high performance? Don't want to waste $50 on this coil when I could get one of the others. The direct bolt-in feature was the inviting feature. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.
