From the infomation I've read about tests that have been done, a single 3" catback will make more power than a split dual exhaust. A true dual set up would make the most power out of the 3 options. I have a flowmaster cat back on my 01 4.7 3" single exit, except the 50 series muffler that came with the kit was too quiet so I replaced it with a delta flow 40 series flowmaster muffler, it sounds better now, some people at the orlando meet we just had last sat night had commented that my exhaust being a single sounded pretty good.

Garrett,

I installed the MBRP Split Duals on my '02 4.7L CC 4x4 about a month ago and I'm more than happy with the results. I'm after doing the cold air intake and H.O. Cams too and I can tell you that I noticed a nice butt dyno power increase. The sound is amazing and the comments I've been receiving have been awesome! Everyone wants to know how I made my Dakota sound so good. Be sure to contact Jonas at Premier Automotive, his prices are awesome and the customer service is top notch.

Regards,
Aaron
