Message: Dude, What happened? Is it that bad that the dealer wont replace it? I know you have lots of mods but it wouldn't hurt if your tried to make the dealer replace it.

Message: HAHA do you realize how hard the dealership would laugh at me if I tried to get them to replace it...plus I'm 37K miles I'm past my warranty anyways.
Every performance shop and every Dakota guy I have talked to since this happened has said they've never heard of this code on our PCM's.
I dunno maybe it was because I had sent it to Kenne Bell...then to B&G and since it had been butchered so much maybe something happened w/ it there. I'm stumped as to what caused it...so is everyone else.

Message: Hey, I also fried the stock computer on my 01 R/T. After chasing down the whole harness I decided to pry open the pcm and low and behold there was a fried transistor. So my stepdad is a TV repairman and can get the parts so I give him the PN off of the Transisor. Well turns out he can't cross reference the PN, CRAP. So I buy a new PCM ($385) with discount at dealership. Oh and I asked about warranty, no can do. The new PCM now throws brake and abs lights. But what are u gonna do.

Message: Fellas, the PCM is a part of the emissions system and as such is covered by much more than the basic 3/36. It should be covered to 80k I believe. If the dealer tries to buffalo you on this, call your state consumer office or the EPA.
Not the case if you have reflashed it, however. That's a clear out for the dealer.
