Subject: Fuel pressure gauge recommendation? IP: Logged
Message: I'm wanting to mount a permanent fuel pressure gauge next to my boost gauge. Any certain gauge I should get? Most of them I have found are temporary use/outside use only gauges. Also, where would it tap into the fuel line? The test valve is already in use. Thanks.

Message: Autometer has what's called an isolator allowing one inside but only for carburated versions which is max of 15 psi. Don't believe an isolater is available for a fuel injected motor. That particular gauge goes to 100 psi. Our motor is at about what?? 44-46 psi. Would you really want that inside risking a fuel leak?? I wouldn't. I mounted mine outside on the cowl with a braided #4 line and paintmatched the cup.....looks trick I think but I don't know how to post photos yet
