Well a fully equipped Ram 1500 SB would run about 30k and the Viper crate engine runs about 10k, with the Ram parts not being a limited production like the Viper car parts they might be able to build and sell them for around 45k+ ??
Lets see a Viper is around 80K !!!

first, I was on a (site) that had a picture of a evo 8 with a 20k mark up, Thats a little over 50k for a ricer for all of you that dont go to school. What makes you think that when that thing comes out that it wont be going for around a LEAST! 60k. If you don't, you are drain bed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

$60,000 and they wont sell one. If someone paid $60,000 for that truck they would be getting ripped off. Im not saying that truck isnt awesome. Another thing is I noticed on the site you list above the times changed from about a year ago when they first showed off this truck. At first they said 5.0 0-60(now 5.2) and 12.9 in the 1/4 (now it says 13.8). If there $60,000,I would take a Zo6 Vette for $50,000 over it anyday.

A nice truck except a few things.
They rate it as 500 BHP instead of the truthful at the wheels horsepower. Ricers usually used bhp in the past.
And I'm not so excited about the spoiler mounted on the tailgate (Ricer look) or the "Viper Powered" logo either. The truck is NOT a Viper. A Viper is a car. They should use a different name for the truck so it doesn't look so cheezy and Ricer-ish.
Just my two cents. Not that I have any problem whatsoever with a truck getting the V10! Or I should say, the V10 equivalent to the Viper. The previous V10 powered truck was wimpy compared to the Viper V10.

I have an early version 98'dak w/v10 (ram-not Viper) and I don't find it wimpy at all.

WHat I meant by wimpy was, wimpy compared to the Viper (car) V10 and very wimpy on power for the friggin size OVER 8.0 LITERS!
They can do better than that with a V10!
Everyone else is making BIG numbers with SMALL engines. The V10 is a BIG engine with SMALL numbers! Even tho the idea of 10 cylinders is exciting, it should make more HP!

Sadly disappointing. Looks like a toy. Regular cab trucks do not appeal to me. Why not bump the hp up or add a s/c and offer an extended cab? $60k? Uh, not from me. Used Vipers go for $30-45k. I think Ill take an orignial.

I understand that the SRT-10 will be available in an EX cab (late model year), and gentlemen, SC are for boys and their Fords! Ford has the upperhand in the sport truck suspension dept, but soon that will not be a factor.

Since when are superchargers for boys?
Pretty much ALL top fuel cars use them.
And if you had one you wouldn't be complaining. So if someone can make 500 HP out of a street legal and fully waranteed vehicle with a SMALL BLOCK V8 then more power to them. I only wish I had one of them!
And if and when dodge wakes up and puts a s/c on a dodge V8, you would be denying you ever said those words!
