Subject: 5.7 liter hemi torque curve? IP: Logged
Message: Does anyone know where to find the torque curve for the new Hemi? I called Chrysler and they keep quoting me the peak hp and torque numbers that I already know! Chrysler obviously dyno tested this motor so the numbers must be available somewhere!
Thanks!

Message: I looked around for the curve myself a few weeks ago. A group of us were talking about it so I tried to find a graphic of the curve. I could only find some numbers, but no graphic on the curve. Hope you find it.

Message: It's gotta be pretty fat...definitely better than the 4.7L curve, and probably better than the 5.9L stock curve as well.

Message: When the hemi was first released on the 2500 series. The press release said it was over 300 ft-lbs at 1000 rpm, 325 ft-lbs at 1500 rpm, and peak 375 at 4200 rpm. Also based on 345 hp at 5400 rpm you know it's making 335 ft-lbs at 5400 rpm. With those 4 points I think you can get a pretty good estimate of a curve.
