Subject: K&N's Filter Cleaning Oil IP: Logged
Message: Just wondering if in the average garage or within household cleaning supplies, if one already has a similar oil (ex: 3&1, machine oil, WD-40, etc) that could be used in place of the oil K&N supplies to re-apply after washing their filters?
Has anyone found something to use that works with no ill affects and is just as good?
Thanks in advance.

Message: stuff is cheap. i think its 10$ for the cleaner and oil. Why do something that potentially is harmful to the motor. if youre in a bind and need to use something I would use wd40
