 Subject: Intake manifold runner length

Hey guys, I finally got another factory intake manifold for my 95 dak / 318. I don't have the cash to buy an M-1 so I'm wondering if you could give me any advice on how far to cut back the runners. On the Hughes Engines site they cut the runners flush with the rest of the manifold, but I also noticed that they didn't have the plenum divider in them either.
My truck has a bigger TB, muffler, cat, IAT relocated, MSD ignition, wires, cap, rotor, 3923's, 180 t-stat, KRC 206 cam and 1.6:1 rockers.
How far should I go with modding the new manifold?
Oh, it does have EGR so I can't cut the divider out.
