Okay, I bought my Ram SS/T in fairly poor condition. It is black and has probably never been washed by hand or even seen wax. The moron who had her used her as a work truck, towed using the bumper instead of a hitch and never did any kind of maintenance to her that I can tell. Anyways, I'm over here in England where the weather is crappy 250 days out of the year. It is finally starting to get clear outside so I decide it's time to bring her paint back to as good as I can. So, following a friends recommendation, I order the Meguiars Deep Crystal 3 step system. The first step is a paint cleaner. It smells like paint thinner but does a great job of removing crap you can't get off by washing. This step took the longest because I took my time and realy scrubbed it in. The second step is the polish. This is where it got good. The first coat made the truck shine. I opted for a second coat which made it look like glass. Then I followed those with the third step which is the carnuba wax. This made the glossy shine deeper and sealed the finish. Now with weekly washing and waxing, I should be able to keep the truck looking new.

Sorry for the long post but I just had to tell everybody. I wish I could show you just what a diffence this stuff made. I ordered the who set (actually sold individually) from autobarn.com for $26 shipped. I just ordered their Deep Crystal car wash, quick detailer, interior cleaner and vinyl gloss stuff yesterday. I can't wait until she's all shined up inside and out. I love my truck.
