I own a 1999 dakota r/t and i know, they dont get good gas milage and i have accepted that fact.
but i want to make it faster and buy parts that get me better gas milage. So far i have a k&n cold air intake and a fiberglass tonneau cover. both of those get me better mpg.
What should i buy to get better mpg and making it faster? i was thinking about getting a throttle body, spark plugs/wiring, and headers. what should i get?

Open up you exhaust and your intake. Get a 360air intake and an F&B or Fastman TB(if your on a budget). Get some PPH headers from socaldakotas.com a carsound 2.5" in/out cat and a cat back exhaust. Choose whatever system suits you. Just depends on how loud you want. Flowmaster 40 series is pretty much the loudest. The 70series is the quietest flowmaster. I have a magnaflow #14256 and its considered one of the quietest. Start with that the see how your budget looks when yer done.

You ever heard the phrase "Speed costs money, How fast do you want to go"??? You can't expect to get great performanc and great gas mileage at the same time. If you bolt on a SC and don't EVER race it and just drive normal, it will give you better gas mileage.
