Hello all, just a quick question. Has anyone else experinced there hazards coming on when turning on their turn signals. It only seems to happen when I put the right one on, and only sparaticly. Appreciate any help thanks.

I have a 2002 Dodge Dakota and it was acting up with the turn signal, the hazard lights would come on. I took mine back to dodge and it turned it was a wireing harness in the steering column. What year is it? It should be covered if it still has a warranty. If it is out of warranty i can find my paperwork and tell you what part they had to fix on mine if you needed that

It is a 2002 and is under warrenty so I think I will be taking it back in this week to get it fixed. Thanks for the help.

There seems to be a general wiring harness/poor workmanship on the newer Daks.
I have a 01, QC, 4.7, SLT, etc., with Trailer Towing, etc.
On my way home one night from the bay towing my catamaran, I noticed the trailer lights went out. No fuse blew. I spiced a wire from my license plate light to the running lights, to have lights on the way home.
The dealer found where the stock harness, had rubbed thru and grounded on the frame, took them about 3 hrs to find it. Truck was about 1 month old!
All on a factory wired towing package. Although free, etc., thats just not very good quality control!

I have a 1992 dodge dakota and the hazards wont come on
but the blinkers work and everything else is fine juat when I
press the hazards they dont work. Any ideas?
