What do you guys think I should run with this setup:?
2000 R/T CC
Gibson Headers, Gibson Exhaust, K&N GenII Intake, M1 2bbl Manifold, Mopar PCM, 1.7 Rockers.
Which is better for this setup the 50mm TB or 52mm TB??

52mm. The 50 is good for the 318 or a 360 used for towing. If you are running all that, the 52mm is optimum.

That's true. I saw a CC V6 Auto Gen III running 11's with a Fastman 46mm TB.

Although I have the 52mm, if I had to do it all over again I would have spent the $$$ elsewhere and just broke out the dremmel on my stock one. The way I understand it....if your NOT blown, turbo'd, or running a more radical cam ... you don't need any more than that. Just my .02.

Jim, check out www.dodgetalk.com in the ram engine and performance section. the dyno sheets are posted there from t/b shootout that was done on a 01 ram 5.9.

I have had both they just produce their power at different rpms. The 50mm is good for low to mid range, and the 52 is good for mid to high rpms. However in the overall 1/4 mile they are almost identical in my opinion. The 50mm can handle the job just fine if your don't want to spend the extra money. However with the roller rockers, open intake/exhuast the 52mm might have a slight advantage.

Makes sense that the 50mm makes more low & mid-range; however, in that dodgetalk.com T shootout, the Ram used just had an FIPK-2, muffler, MP PCM & 180 degree 'stat, and the Fastman 52 made 30 ft.lbs torque more than the next TB, and 45 more than the Fastman 50mm, both at 2100 rpm...go figure.
