 Subject: BELLY PAN GASKET/ INTAKE SWAP?

OK it happened to me too. My SH_T is leaking. The belly pan gasket is junk. What should I do!! Do I
A)replace the old gasket with a new one...... or
B)buy a replacement intake for this motor....
The simple problem is that I live in the great state of Mass. where we have the California Emmisions laws. It doesn't leave me much options I know. Do they sell an aftermarket or direct replacement intake manifold for the old style Beer Keg piece of Sh_t? It not than who makes the best gaskets to do this repair? Does anyone have any pointers to make this the Damn Best Repair that any intake manifold specialist in the WORLD would do? Please let me know so I can freeze my ass off trying to change this. Any tips Helpfull! I know there are a lot of PRO's here that have done several of these on their own trucks. Gotta love Dodge for this engineering masterpiece!

I'll take a shot....You don't say if it's a V6 or V8
If V6 your options are slim to none on any after market replacement intake, Hughes does a modified one

If V8 you have the M1 option this eliminates the belly pan altogether

Sorry DakotaDan . I have the 5.2L V8. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a manifold besides the M1 that will remain 50 state legal without any other mods. I'm trying to keep this project within the budget!!
