I have a 1999 Dako 5.2 with a 3.55 gears. I lowered it and put on 255/45/18 tires. My RPM's shoot up a couple hundred. How can i bring them down to at least stock. help

u cant....only way isa to lower gear ratio or get smaller tires...couple hundered aint gonna hurt at all..

You need to get taller tires to bring the rpm down, not smaller tires.

Jake, you got that backwards. He needs to get taller tires to lower his RPMs. Just think, larger circumference, more tire to roll to complete a full circle.
You could go lower than 3.55, a number of 4cyl dakotas came with lower and I'm sure they'd be more than happy to trade you.
You could do that, but it would suck driving that and the effort isn't worth it.
A couple hundred RPM is not going to hurt anything and the difference is gas usage is negligible.
