 Subject: 4.7 Exhaust &other misc things

Is there any companies out there that make a custom "Y" pipe. I just got my 2000 4.7 QC 2wd last weekend. I glanced under the truck and noticed about 1.75-2" looking exhaust pipe coming from the drivers side manifold to the Y pipe. Now, I am a 5.0/4.6 Mustang person, but I know that 1.75-2" cannot be good for 1) performance or 2) mileage. Anybody know of any companies that make exhaust stuff for the 4.7 yet? I see stuff for the 318/360 all the time, but little for the 4.7.
Getting the tranny vent recall fixed friday (thanks to reading about it on this site) I started getting a loose rattle sound from the frontend also. Sounds like it is coming from the pass side. Anyway, its still under warranty, but wondering if anybody else experienced it? I love this truck. (first non-ford I have owned, other than my fiance's saturn-but that doesnt count) When looking for a 4 door 'compact' truck, the Dakota was the only thing to look at. Going to be pulling my NMRA F/S car with it occasionally. Wondering if anybody has put air-lift or anything like that to help level the rear with a load?

Trany recall? What year is yours, it might be worth my time to get that taken care of. I put Roadmaster Active Suspension on mine, raised the back a little with out load, but with load it drives alot better.

I havent seen a Y pipe for the 4.7s yet, but i did get a super free flowing Gibson. It feels like i lost a little low end, I think the back pressure did some good. Im going to try and gain back the low end with Bruce's TB when its ready to ship. If you need any advice, this is the place to get it. :)
