Message: i have a 2000 4.7.. after finding out that they come standard with champion plugs (not even good enough for a weedeater) i want to change to the autolites 3923's... is there anohter part number i need besides this one? did anyone run into problems changing them (could not be any worse than my 98 grand am gt V-6 !.). .. also should the gap stay the same as the facotry champions? .... also.. how big of a job to install a robert shaw 180 degree thermostat.. ? Would this decrease the life of my cats/ performance exhaust since I do short trips to work, since the engine will not be warming up to a higher temp?? how about cold northeast winter?? will it affect the heater? thanks for all your help!!!!!!

Message: The plugs aren't too difficult to change. You will have to remove the air box and some tubes out of the way. Watch the clips on the tube! They are very easy to break. I haven't gotten to changing the t-stat yet.
