Subject: ASE CHIP 4.7L IP: Logged
Message: Does the ASE chip really give a 2001 4.7 26HP and 33ft/pd TQ?? Does this chip work well with mods like cold air intake/exhaust,cams.. But that 26hp and 33TQ is rated at the fly so that wouldnt be a whole lot at the wheels would it? Anybody have the ASE on a 01 4.7, what mods do you have and how do you like the chip???
Thanks

Message: I have the B&G Chrysler "flash" on my R/T, does anybody know if I can get the ASE chip installed without screwing things up. I see absolutely no gains from the flash.

Message: Doesn't ASE rate their performance based on computer simulations and not actual dynos? I think they are the ones.

Message: No time soon for the hypertech and the we're all still kinda waitin on the ASE for some real dyno numbers. The only numbers anyone has seen give pretty much 0 h.p.

Message: DB,
how about getting one, and doing a before and after dyno for us? It's all in the name of modding the DAK!

Message: I would get one for dyno before/after results if they didnt have to hack a big hole into the side of it my ECU to install new chip, it would take the dealer about 5 seconds to notice that one and make a note of it in your on-line record.
