I was looking at a friend's new issue of Truckin' magazine and found a tech article on installing a Spintech 3" true dual exhaust w/X-pipe on an R/T(not sure on the year).Well anyways, down to the point.They said they gained 40 HORSEPOWERER!That blew my mind.I now think they're #1 for power gains.Oh, and it was the side exit.
Anyone seen better?

Don't expect the same gains out of every vehicle. The truck it was installed in is a Paxton supercharged 408 stroker with nitrous.

the 40 hp gain is on a s/c 408.
You can expect similar gains on a s/c 360 or
a 408 that is lightly modded.
The gain measured is from a single 3" to a
dual 3" through race mufflers with an x pipe,
this type of gain is not uncommon and the set
up sounds awesome.

Hey scott, Saw the buildup of your truck in the latest issue of truckn magazine....Had a question for you, In your 408, it didnt mention if the crank you used was forged or cast. Im building a 408 and was wondering what you had in your setup. Thanks
