Message: Anybody have the F.A.S.T. computer system for their truck ? I see people having nothing but problems with tuning with major mods ( heads , cam , SC , NO2). Seems like its the way to go.
Is there any other thing out there that is similar & cheaper ? I think Fel Pro has something like it.
$2400 for an on board computer is a little steep for me.

Message: FAST and FelPro are the same thing. Any stand alone computer system worth while is going to be in that price neighborhood. The FAST or the Accel Gen VII are the two most likely candidates. There are others, but none that I've seen are as user friendly or have the support base that the FAST/Accel systems have.

Message: I recall someone asking about the TC3 system last year and being told they don't have a harness for the Dak. That and they don't do sequential in all apps. The harness issue can be overcome with a proto truck, but the sequential thing is important in whatever system you choose.
I still like the FAST or Accel better just for the support you can find online. But none of them compare to a true custom tune of the factory PCM ;-)
