Subject: M1 intakes....whats the difference???? IP: Logged
Message: Campbell enterprises has 2 MPI M1 intakes listed online......one is $239 and
the other is $339, whats the difference between the two...part #s
5249816 and 5007398 respectively.
Anyone know??????

Unless you've got a 408 stroker or supercharged engine, go with the 2bbl manifold, otherwise you'll lose a lot off the bottom end.
You'll also need the M1 2bbl install kit with gaskets, which runs about $60 I think.

Message: Thanks guys, I am actually building up a 408 right now.....so I can save a hundred bucks, get an adapter plate and run the 4 barrel on my 408?
