when we got rid of our third cat-we bought less food! J/K
I'm think'n about trying to get mine cut out, or gutted-even better IMO.
People who've done't say it's quite a bit louder. One guy posted that he didn't wait for the puter to relearn things, and didn't like the changes in perf.

I have seen a high flow on a 99 318. Little better in the top end. No loss on the bottom.
