Message: I had the large turtle, I think you should go for the extra large turtle.
If everyone say's they didn't loose much torque, why is almost every M1 owner so intrested in trying to buy these turtle's up?
Mopar should convert there HEMI M1 dual plan intake into a MPI intake for the Magnum :)
It's too bad the magnum crate engines are not recommended to MPI replacements. In mopar mag they got a 380hp rated magnum to make 409hp and high 400tq with just some tweaks.

Message: No, a dual plan intakes cannot take advantage of this part, just like the throttle body spacer.
If you read up on single plan and dual plan you'll under stand why.

So what are you saying about people who have bought a turtle (me)? You saying I wasted my money? ;)
Eli
Oh, can a passenger ride along at Irwindale like they can at Fontana?

Message: well, i didnt notice much of a loss in lowend with the M-1, and i highly doubt that it would give you even 1/2 of a tenth in the 1/4, so its just not a part that i NEED.
im not saying you wasted your cash. just try it out,and if its not for you, sell it. since jeff is not making them any more, you could probably get your money back, or maby make a profit off of it.
i have a 5speed, and my 1st gear is a lot lower than yours, so you might feel more of a torque loss than me (but you bigger engine might offset the gearing...i dont know)
yes, you can have a passenger at irwindale..you going?

lol, just bustin your b@lls! As long as my mind thinks it's working, then it's all good. ;) Kind of like certain dakota owners who think there stock truck is faster than a Lightning...cough...cough...if you know what I mean! lol
Yup, I might go. What time will you be there? I can get to the track off the 210 freeway right? What are the helmet requirements?

Message: Hey Eric, I love these 21 lb injectors. I got all my issues fixed from when we were down in Carlsbad, and hope to get out again soon. She is running really strong. I just can't get the tme to get the gears done.
I beat up on a brand new M3 the other day. My buddy from work almost $hit himself. He didn't think my truck was that fast.
I think I would like to try one of those turtles. Where can I get one now sice Jeff is not making them anymore.

Message: I do have to MOPAR PCM. It was missing on 2 cylinders down there. I had the MAP sensor plug routed to the intake manifold, and the signal was dropping it on it's A$$. I lost all the power in 3rd gear. These heads and cam are monsters. I did dyno it again, and she is at 293HP/287TQ.

Message: Yes it fixed it and I reset PCM(MOPAR) 3 times due to new injectors, and all was good.
293HP @5400, But they shut it off. I think it should be more. The curve was still climbing.
287TQ @3800-4800. It was a solid line all the way across the board. It dropped to about 267 at 5400RPM's
The best part is when you look at the graph, the lines are almost straight across for TQ, and HP just keeps going up up up.
