Yeah I went last Friday night. Wasn't impressed with the times, but it was my first time to race the 1/4 mile at a NHRA track.
No tailgate, or spare tire, over half tank of gas (big no no, needed to come with about an 1/8 of a tank) pretty much stock except for the exhaust.
1st run:
R/T .985 (1st time so gettin use to the lights)
60' 2.330
330 6.493
1000 13.101
1/4 15.763
MPH 84.34
2nd run:
R/T .748 (gettin better)
60' 2.250
330 6.479
1/8 10.027
1000 13.144
1/4 15.820
MPH 83.81
When I install the air intake I'm also gonna install a 180 thermostat, remove the clutch fan, relocate the IAT sensor, and later I'm gonna do a dremil job on the TB, add a 75 shot of the happy gas, and a pair of slicks. Should make for at least mid 14's
Got the e-mail about the intake, thanks for the update look forward to seeing it.

Also when I get ready to add the NOS later this year I'll have to get with ya on how to set up the ports on the intake.

Yeah, the NOS setup will probably be happening around next december so I've got some time to do all the other mods and get everything set up for next years cold weather. Not near as cold as it's getting where you are. I wouldn't know what to do if we got 7" of snow here in Houston. I would say it's snowed about 4 or 5 times here in the last 25 years, and not much just enough to lightly coat the ground. How much did you nitrous express system cost? Did you set it up yourself and if so how hard was it to do?

Hey Steve, the roll pan looks slick.
I was thinking about getting one, but I'd have to get a hidden hitch cause of my tow-package which makes it pretty $$$ for just a roll pan.

thanks!i am satisfied with the pan.
racenet.net 470.00 shipped.back in june.they have went up some though.i install everything myself.all on my truck has been performed by me.i just got my nx purge kit,and nx filter today.working on a 68mm port/polish tb too!
