Man it's 7:30 on a Saturday morning and I'm at work and STILL happy. I got a new best time a full 6 tenth better than last time. I'm going to have to get some slicks and go for the 12s.
R/T .663
60' 2.125
1/8 8.738 @ 82.65 mph.
1/4 13.558 @ 100.28 mph.
*On street tires, with spare tire and tailgate still on !!!!!!

Sorry I guess I could have listed mods in the first place. basicaly all the usual mods, Custom intake, traction bars, 180 T-stat, ported TB, IAT Adj.(turned off), Plus a 100 HP shot of GO Go Juice.
01', 4.7L, RC, 5spd. HD, 3.92 LSD

That was a pretty time slip.. not to mention you broke the century mark!!!!
I ran several times at 14.6 in my QC - new best for me. Man I got the mod bug again!!!
Several people said that slicks will cut off 3 tenths or more. You can probably get set up with new slicks for $400-450. Not bad for that kind of improvement.

I don't really have an honest N/A ET because I missed second on that run, it should be 14.6 or judging by racing my friends on the street.

What mods do you have done to your QC. I only got 15.76 for my 1st time run at HRP last friday. I kept hitting my rev limiter, and I wasn't manually shifting, just let the auto do the work with the O/D off. Again that was my 1st time to ever run at a NHRA track so I expect with practice the times will get a little better.

All of my mods are listed on my profile. I have done most all the usual bolt ons. The deepest I've gone inside the engine is the roller rockers.
I haven't done any mods since last spring and that was the B&G computer flash.
However, after Friday night, I'm gettin a little itchy from "mod fever".
I talked to some guys about: Further exhaust improvements (cat "modifications", crossover pipe, cut out). I might check out a 2400 stall converter like Jim had. Slicks could be another option. Then of course there is Nitrous like Ben had. Chris had installed some new heads. Another Chris' blower was really fine. I liked the electric radiator fans. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
or should I say OMG$$$$$$$$$$$
