 Subject: Flowmaster Delta Flow 40's

O.K I just picked up a Flowmaster 40-series Delta Flow. Part Number 942549 2 1/2 single in 2 1/2 single out. I will have it installed Monday around 4:00 , so I will let you guys know how it sounds. Acording to the guys at Jegs , the Delta Flow 40 is supposed to sound better in the cab , but sound as aggressive as the orginal series 40 outside. We will find out!!!

Man,I have a 40 series single in single out 3 inch I woulda sold you. It already has a turn down tip on it, and was used for aprox 2 months.:( I needa sell this damn thing!!

its gonna sound great i have the same muffler on mine and it is fricking awesome, it will take a while for your computer to readjust, so you may get worse fuel for a while, but its worth it, i love mine, i beat stock foxboys :o)

I got a delta flow 40 series on my 2001 4.7 3" in and out it definetly sounds better than the flowmaster cat back I had on first. Sounds good inside and has a nice growl outside

I have the same muffler on my 4.7 except with single in single out 3 inch and out and it sounds MEAN! I love it!

I have the 2.5 in and out with a turndown and I love it. At idle it rumbles and when i step on it everyone turns to see what the hell it is...by the way it will sound very different at first...you might already know but it gets better with age.

This thing sounds GREAT!!!! And it gets better!!??? Man this is so cool! About the only thing I didn't like about my truck is it never sounded like a V8 , from the factory the 4.7 is very tame , sound wise. NOT NOW BABY!!!! Sounds mean on the outside , and nice-n-mild on the inside!! Very happy I did it!
