for anyone who has aol, you probably saw this when you signed on a couple days ago, but dodge has a concept motorcycle they are working on. It is a 4-wheel motorsycle with a viper engine. Can you just imagine that, a motorcycle with 500 hp?! Dodge says it will do 0-60 in 2.5 seconds and has a top speed potential of 400mph!

Yeah, I've seen it.
As a motorcycle rider I have to ask "How the f*** do they get that thing to turn???". I mean, most motorcycles lean into the turn. Is there some kind of complicated linkage between the two tires?
And why did their "example" only go in a straight line?

As a former rice/crotch rocket (GS1100)rider also, I was wondering the same thing. I figured it must keep all 4 tires in contact, even at steep angles, wow.
Are they actually going to produce this thing?
I"m not sure if I'd want to be on it when it did 0-60 in 2.5 secs! What the hell am I talking about? Yes I would!

with the four wheel independent suspension, it can lean into the turns....
Each rear wheel is driven by it's own chain...
Some interesting facts about the Tomahawk:
- It's only got a two speed geabox...
- Considering driveline loss of %20 (meaning 400hp to the ground) and a weight of only 1500lb + a 200lb person (for this calculation), the Tomhawk could run the 1/4 mile in only 9.44 seconds... (and probably not even hit the second gear!!!)
- The frame is a solid piece of billet aluminum...
- It has a dry sump oil ing system, too
