Ok, so I've heard alot about the Autolite's, But how about NGK's? I've always used NGK's and they have always seemed to be way better then anything else (in my experiance). But I want to get what ever my DAK is going to love me for feeding it. I've always had bad luck with autolite's and champion's. So I'm just hoping to hear how NGK's have worked for others, And I do know every one is probibly tired of hearing "the spark plug issue". any feed back (good or bad) about NGK's would be great.

Ive had my autolites on for about 20k miles and havent had one problem. They run great and give me a little extra power that I can actually FEEL!

I have run NGK V-powers in my 318 and so far are the best plug I have had. I liked them better than the autolites. The engine ran nice and smooth. Much, much better than those split fires

I will admitt upfront that I am partial to NGK and Bosch. I used both almost exclusively as a Tech for BMW and Toyota . I think they make a great product at a great price. Their guality control(NGK) is the best in the business. They do not do anything special they just do it right more times in a row then anyone else I know. Bosch uses only the best materials but their quality control is not as good.

One post says it "gave me a little extra power that I can actually FEEL"!

Looking for power from spark plugs is silly. Coper plugs will provide plenty of spark but they foul esaily and have a norrow heat range. Platnium and other exotic metal plugs are designed to extend the useful performance life not increase performance. So with a double platnium you should be able to gap them once install them and drive them 80,000 to 100,000 miles and then thtow them away and replace with fresh ones. They are also self cleaning and have a much broader heat range then copper plugs. The only possable exception to this might be fine wire center electrode uridium plugs which do reguire about 30% less voltage to fire when compared to thick platnium and copper center electrodes but the thin fine uridiums only last 30,000 miles and their is no direct correlation to increased performance due to decreased need for voltage or current to fire. They were origanaly designed with thick center electrode design for Lexus and it gave them a useful life of over 140,000 miles. They are expensive!!!! You will not catch me useing thin wire uridiums. If they market the thick wire uridiums I will be first in line.

ok i put the NGK's in and my dak now starts much easier, runs smoother and definatly has more power. i was so worried about a huge power increase as much as better fuel economy. I only have 4k on my 2002 dak sport cc 3.9 4x4, and the NGK's do defenatly make a differance over the stock champions. i used NGK v-powers part #zfr6f-11, i recomend to any and every one!
