Message: I am looking forward to purchasing a new Dodge R/T and I would like to install a twin turbo set up. Anyone know how I would go about doig this? I would have to re-gear it and re-do the rear end. Also, I want to eventually add a blower, anyone know how I would do this? best regards

Message: Ah get out your wallet and then start looking for a suitable shop to help you out.
Id say at the lowest end, the cost will be about $7,000.
Garrett has some nice GT series turbos out now.
I would concentrate on getting the motor set up before worrying about "back halving" the truck...lol

Message: I have a very good idea what I need to do to my truck but I feel insane and in the next five years I want to get more then 700 horsepower out of it. I dont want to get into my entire plan about that but I do want to know what exactly I would have to do to set up my truck with twin turbos and have it run smoothly and last. Also, what kind of turbos would I use? Do I need customs or can I get some wholesale and have someone install them for me? best regards

Message: Actually, I've been working on more cost effective turbocharger setups for the Dakotas, Rams and Durangos over the last couple of months...
It would be possible to build you a nice twin turbo setup for around $5000...
Feel free to e-mail me if you want more info...

Whatchu talking about Willis?
408 build-up, with everything balanced, prepped for boost should be able to make 700HP's and be pretty reliable.

Message: Twins and a blower??!?! Are we talking about a sequential setup where the blower would be forcing already pressurized air into the turbos?? I guess if a bit of turbo lag bothers you that much... seems a little expensive for a very marginal gain though...

Message: TurboGuy - Yep, parts as well...
Natl Enquirer - Yes, SpeedTweaks is still alive...and kicking, too
Actually, turbochargers are just exhaust driven superchargers...
I have seen where a guy built an engine with a roots-type blower(for bottom end) and twin-turbos (for mid to top end)... but, His vehicle was a show/race car, too...
IF your engine already has low end torque, twin turbos are all you need... :-)
