 Subject: " Sewer Pipe " Intake results

Not to take anything away from the others, but I just fabricated the ABS intake on my 2002 4.7 CC. Insulated the tube with aluminum/foam pipe wrap. Although it isn't much to look at, what a difference!! I used the S&B powerstack filter (7") and so far I'm very pleased with the low end improvement, will see how the MPG is affected in the next couple weeks. if you would like to see it, e-mail me, and I'll shoot some pics for you.

When I first did mine, I loved the sound so much I coudln't keep off the throttle. Now my flowmaster covers it up :(

I'm just working on a new one to replace the one I already have. I'm very happy with the performance of the old one, but I hate the way it looks, so the new one should be much more asthetically pleasing :) I'll post pics once, I finish, it'll be a few days though...
