im selling a used throttle body off of a 5.9L. i do NOT have a bracket for it, so for thoes of you who might want to use it on your V6, you will have to get the bracket (which shouldnt be too much)

The V6 bracket transfers straight across... BUT, if someone needs one, or two or three or... I got a bunch of them-- Most in good shape... Cheap... (like $5.00 each+ shipping)-- (shipping is probably more than the price of the bracket, but I at least have them if anyone needs one--)

Sorry for hijacking an old thread, but I am also selling a v8 throttle body I ran on my v6 for a few years until I sold the truck. I am selling the v8 TB cable with it. On Ebay, $50 Buy it Now, OBO.

Wow buddy, *ahem* lets clarify some things...
Yes, I bought it for my 3.9. Yes, it was made for a 5.2. ANY amount of looking around especially on these boards will show you that the 5.2 TB is a great upgrade over the stock 3.9 TB.
If anyone has an intelligent question or comment, I will be more than happy to answer them. Otherwise shut up, p*ss off and dont try to slander my (very much legitimate) sale.
And "Ya Well," why dont you listen before you speak (or in this case, read before you type).

Well, the 5.2 ran until 1999. The 3.9 ran until 2003. So technically the part is for a 1996-1999 5.2 engine. It can, however be bolted to a 1996-2003 3.9 as an upgrade. My truck happened to be a 2000.
I think (but I might be wrong) the 2000 model year falls between the 1996 and 2003 model years. But I'm sure you'll correct me on that too.
In all seriousness, if anyone has a question I'll be glad to answer them.
