Good question. I think a 5.0 with 5 speed would take the R/T based on times I have seen on both. I would like to see a 5.0 with auto against an R/T. That is a fair race that I think the R/T can win. The Ford trannys seem to eat up a lot of H.P.

Hey Wayne a 5.0 5 speed and 4.7 5 speed. That should be fun and very close depending on mod's.
What's is the 4.6 engine all about? It basicaly the same as a 4.7 with an OHC also if I am not mistaken. The new ones do generate 260hp but where do they get that extra hp over the 4.7 from?
